Subject: [ISUTalk] A new web tool for the ISU Community network
Dear Members of the ISU Community,
A dedicated web space is now available to the ISU Community members.
On this platform, you will be able to manage your subscriptions to the services provided by ISU to the Community in order to keep, maintain and develop this unique tool: the ISU Network.
To access the ISU Community services webspace, use the Services/Community login button from the ISU Homepage or use this Direct link. This will be shortly replacing the “Community members Login” menu appearing at the bottom right of the ISU Homepage.
As the Community webspace is restricted to ISU Community members, you will have to provide an ID. Your ID is the one I sent you some month ago. If you don’t remember it, no problem: I can resend it to you. Simply send your request via the Alumni support contact form.
The Online Community service now include the new version of the online Contacts Directory. This new version is more complete, includes an advanced search function and other things I let you discover. Privacy Policies are the same as with the former tool, thus when searching the ISU Community database, you will be searching amongst 478 profiles.
We encourage every member of the ISU Community to share its General Information with other members of the ISU Community. To do so, Edit your Profile, select the “Privacy Policy” Tab and select the “Show” Radio button for the information you agree to share.
Currently available services:
· *NEW* Keep you r contact information up to date (direct link)
· *NEW* Stay networked with friends and colleagues (direct link)
· Inform the Community about your activities (direct link)
· Browse the ISU Forum (direct link)
· Manage your ISU lists subscriptions (Immediate Direct link) (Digest direct link)
We hope you will enjoy this service. Your suggestions to add new services are welcome. We are already testing new functions. So, have a look and stay tuned.
Suggestions, Questions, comments ? Browse the dedicated Forum or get in touch with the Alumni support.
Share/Spread this message amongst the ISU Alumni.
With regards,
Joel Herrmann
ISU IT Manager
